Being thankful for what we have.

In today’s society it seems very hard for people to appreciate what they have. Bigger is better and keeping up with the Jones (or Kardashians) is the new normal way of life. All I ever seem to hear from people is how they get the shaft or how life is not fair. When people only see things in life as the glass half empty version it ruins things that could be enjoyable.

Instead of being mad about what we are missing out on –  the best new phone or computer, the bigger house and car, the nicest outfits, purses, and jewelry, maybe we should try to appreciate what we do have, clean clothing, food on the table and a safe place to lay our head at night. After all, not everyone is so lucky.

Leave us a comment and let us know what you are thankful for.
